I'm glad they are at least tackling the issue and acknowledging that the plain gray walls look generic. What they are proposing is better, but they could have done more. I think one reason they strayed away from putting player images out there is where do you stop? You don't want to offend alums that promote the brand and help finance it.

Also, I think Luck has talked about wanting to do something like a ring of honor or something like that at the stadium. He talked about what you referenced, that you may not need to retire the number, but you can honor the player. I think the numbers that are retired are probably all we want to retire. You need just about all of them for football.

Luck is a step ahead of just about everyone else, and smart enough to know who to ask about the things he is unsure about. Eddie P. did a fine job, but his style cannot work in today's environment. Luck is a smart and shrewd businessman, which is what you have to be these days. If we are ever going to have a shot to reach the very top, it is with him at the helm.

Calhoun publically stated that KJ should be POY. Williams cannot vote for his own player. I'm sure its deeper than that. I bet Marinatto talked with the ADs of the schools and told them to eff over WVU. Simple as that.

The Big East is about as petty as one can imagine. I would guess that Meatball is able to influence the vote at Providence. I'm sure Buzz voted for his guy. Calhoun and Pitino probably voted for Crowder, because they are nothing if not petty jerks. I just don't get the rest.

I feel bad for KJ, but I just hope the boys rally and kick some other team's butts for payback.

That game still frustrates me. There is just no reason to lose that game. I think the officiating has been terrible at crucial times, but the team needs to overcome that. I just hope we can get it rolling against Pitt.

Excellent analysis Brandon. I don't know if there is a plot against WVU, but it sure as heck feels like it. We were screwed constantly in football, and now there are at least 3 huge basketball games this year where the officiating had a direct impact on the result of the game. I cannot wait to get out of the Big East. It is just getting unbearable. It took all I had not to break something Saturday.

We have to beat 'Cuse at the Dome and ND in whatever that hell hole is called. It will be our last time for quite a while. It is crazy how well Huggy has coached this team.

I think this whole ordeal has forced people to look inward to really assess how they would react. I know it has made me want to be more proactive. I am fortunate to never be around an incident like this. I have seen some things that were troubling, and most of the time I have interveened, but I can't say that has happened 100% of the time.

Just thinking of PSU, I don't think the guys getting all the blame right now are the ones really to blame. If my gut is correct, I believe there is going to be some real bad stuff that comes out about that charity and the people involved. Granted, not everyone involved knew what was going on. However, it just seems like there were some things that were really off with that organization.
